New Customized Salik Stickers in Dubai

Customizable Salik Stickers: A New Era for Dubai's Corporate Fleets
Dubai's toll payment system, Salik, is expanding with a new innovation catering to the needs of corporate clients. The recently announced initiative allows companies to order unique Salik stickers for their vehicles, featuring custom design elements, logos, or messages. This not only enhances brand recognition but also strengthens the customer experience in digital transportation services.
What is Salik?
Since 2007, Salik, which means 'clear' or 'open' in Arabic, has been Dubai's electronic toll system. The system uses RFID (radio frequency identification) and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology. Every vehicle is equipped with an adhesive Salik tag that needs to be placed on the front windshield. When the car passes through a Salik gate, the system automatically identifies the vehicle and deducts the toll from the prepaid account without the need for stopping or intervention.
Tolls vary by time period:
Peak periods (6:00–10:00 and 16:00–20:00): 6 dirhams
Off-peak periods: 4 dirhams
One Account, Multiple Vehicles
Multiple vehicles can be added to a single Salik account, but each car must have its own Salik tag. This is particularly advantageous for companies operating fleets, as it simplifies the administration of tracking vehicle movements and toll costs.
Custom Salik Stickers for Businesses
The soon-to-be-introduced customizable stickers give companies the opportunity to distinguish their vehicles. According to Salik's statement, this step is part of "a commitment to enhancing customer experience and innovation."
Detailed technical and ordering information will be published shortly, but the aim is clear: Salik is evolving from just a toll collection system into a digital mobility platform that supports corporate identity and user-friendly solutions.
Salik Balance – More Than Just Toll Payment
Salik recently announced another breakthrough: from now on, drivers in Dubai can use their Salik e-wallet balance to pay for fuel and other services at selected gas stations. This was made possible through an agreement with the Enoc group, aiming to encourage cashless and cardless transactions.
This service is not only more convenient but also safer and is expected to be extended to more locations in the future.
Increasingly Usable
The Salik e-wallet is expanding to cover more services. It is already usable for parking in areas such as:
Dubai Mall
Dubai Marina Mall
Souq Al Bahar
Dubai Harbor
Miracle Garden
Marina Walk
This system allows for contactless, fast, and efficient payments not only for road usage but for numerous services throughout the city.
Summary
Dubai's toll management system is undergoing significant development. The unique Salik stickers and expanded e-wallet usage indicate that the city is increasingly moving towards digital and personalized solutions. This benefits corporate clients as well as anyone who values convenience, automation, and modern urban mobility.
