Sharjah Approves Jobs and Promotions Boost

The Sharjah government has approved the hiring of 700 job seekers with no prior work experience for various government organizations. The involved individuals are participants of the Sharjah Rehabilitation and Training Program, aimed at strengthening the local labor market and integrating young, inexperienced workers into the public sector.
As part of this decision, the status of 254 employees with new academic qualifications was also addressed. The new classifications and benefits are retroactive to the date of obtaining their qualification, with a total cost of 8.4 million dirhams.
Additionally, the Sharjah government approved the promotion of 1,523 employees. Of these, 1,222 are job position promotions, 264 are financial promotions, and 37 are extraordinary financial promotions. The entire promotion program costs 22 million dirhams.
These measures clearly aim to strengthen the governmental sector, enhance local workforce motivation, and encourage professional development. This program is expected to contribute to the increased efficiency of Sharjah's government services and the achievement of job creation goals in the long run.
