UAE Unveils Futuristic Hybrid Police Car

A New Era for UAE Public Safety: Mobile Police Stations with Drones and EV Charging
The United Arab Emirates has reached another technological milestone that elevates not only public safety but also sustainable mobility to a new level. By 2027, a completely new hybrid police vehicle, locally manufactured, is set to be operational. This vehicle will serve simultaneously as a mobile police station, a drone control center, and an on-the-go charging station for electric vehicles.
Forward-looking Technology with Local Manufacturing
The vehicle, developed by one of the UAE's leading tactical mobility companies, can cover up to 900 kilometers on a single charge. It is suitable for long-distance patrolling and can autonomously operate in off-road environments. The project aims to be in service between 2027 and 2028 and is currently on display at the Make it in the Emirates exhibition in Abu Dhabi, where thousands of local companies are showcasing their innovations.
Mobile Police Station and Drone Hub in One
The hybrid vehicle's uniqueness lies in its function as a mobile command center, where police patrol officers and commanders can launch drones in real-time from the vehicle to monitor accidents, traffic situations, or other law enforcement events. The multi-camera system offers a 360-degree view, providing real-time surveillance and enabling quick decision-making.
On-the-Go EV Charging – Aid for Stranded Drivers
The adoption of electric vehicles in the UAE is growing, creating a parallel rise in the demand for reliable charging options. Thanks to its built-in technology, the new police car can recharge other electric vehicle batteries on the go, playing a crucial role in offering quick assistance to drained EVs. This feature is especially beneficial on highways, in sparsely populated areas, or during emergencies.
The Intersection of Safety and Innovation
The purpose of the new vehicle extends beyond merely enhancing the efficiency of police work; it also supports smart city infrastructure. This development is part of a broader strategic plan that reflects UAE's sustainability and technological goals. The hybrid police car combines modern technology with environmentally conscious solutions, contributing to the improvement of city livability and safety.
