Summer takes a new level in Sharjah: from July 1 to September 1, the Sharjah Summer Promotions series will return, featuring discounts of up to 75% at over 1,000 participating stores. Organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) in cooperation with the tourism authority (SCTDA), the event aims to strengthen Sharjah's position as a commercial, tourism, and family-friendly destination.

A novelty of the event series is a smartphone application that allows visitors to participate in electronic drawings. Prizes include shopping vouchers, gold bars, gifts, and various gift packages offered by shopping malls, markets, and commercial units to enhance the shopping experience.

Hotel Packages and Extra Discounts

This year, 23 hotels are offering more than 35 different packages that include discounted accommodations, dining options, and beverages. Additionally, many packages provide free entry to popular attractions in Sharjah, as well as extra credits for using various hotel services.

Shamsa, the New Favorite of Children

The highlighted novelty of the 2025 campaign is “Shamsa,” the new mascot designed specifically for the entertainment of family visitors and children. The interactive experience is completed by the “Shamsa Entertainment City” children’s festival held from July 15 to August 15 at the Expo Centre Sharjah. The event offers entertaining programs, games, and creative activities for children while parents can also enjoy pleasant relaxation.

The Sharjah Summer Promotions offer more than 75 different programs for visitors. These include cultural events, educational workshops, summer camps, weekly children’s sessions, and various family-friendly programs. Particularly attractive for beach lovers are the series of marine sports events held in Khorfakkan.

The programs are realized with the support of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), the Sharjah Museums Authority, the Environment and Natural Reserves Authority, the Sharjah Art Foundation, and the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club.
