How to Set Up the New Feature?
Creating a parent-managed account is a relatively simple process. Firstly, the latest version of the app needs to be installed on the child's phone.
Then, during registration, the option to create a parent-managed account should be selected. The system will ask for the child's phone number and date of birth.
In the next step, the parent scans the QR code displayed on the child's device with their own phone. This establishes the connection between the two devices.
Afterward, the parent confirms they are of legal age and creates a six-digit PIN. Once the code is entered on the child's phone as well, the account is activated.
The child can then set up their profile, such as by adding a name and profile photo, and start using the app within the limits set by the parent.

According to WhatsApp, the new feature will not appear for all users immediately. The service will be rolled out gradually over the coming months.
