The new tariffs apply a progressive pricing scheme, offering predictable costs for shorter and longer durations alike. The fee for half an hour of parking is 2 dirhams, 1 hour is 4 dirhams, while parking for two hours costs 8 dirhams. The official rate for three hours is 12 dirhams, and four hours costs 16 dirhams.

The system primarily encourages drivers not to occupy the same spots for extended periods, especially in busier areas. This method has already proved effective in several parts of Dubai as it facilitates faster turnover of parking spaces and reduces congestion.

Parkin Offers Subscription Packages

In addition to daily fees, Parkin has made longer-term subscription packages available for those parking in Damac Hills. This can be particularly favorable for those who regularly work or live in the same area.

A one-month subscription costs 300 dirhams, a three-month package is priced at 800 dirhams, while a six-month plan costs 1,600 dirhams. The annual subscription is available for 2,800 dirhams.

More and more people in Dubai are opting for such arrangements, as they offer more convenience over the long term than hourly payments. Moreover, the subscription system makes monthly commuting costs more predictable, which is especially important for those who use their car daily.

According to Parkin, there was a significant rise in the number of parking fines issued in the first quarter of 2026. Over 754,000 fines were issued in the first three months of this year, representing a 32% increase compared to the same period last year.

The company's intelligent inspection fleet increased from 27 to 28 vehicles during the quarter, indicating that Dubai continues to make substantial investments in developing digital transportation systems.
