Global Village Nears Season's End Celebration

The Global Village in Dubai, one of the most popular outdoor family entertainment and shopping destinations, has officially announced that the last day of its 29th season will be May 11, 2025. The spectacular attraction remains closed during the summer months, as visitors have become accustomed to over the years, since its outdoor nature would not make it ideal to operate in the hot summer heat.

Why is Global Village so special?

Global Village is not just a fair or a cultural festival; it is a blend of both, complemented with themed amusement park elements, gastronomic specialties, and world-class performances. During the 29th season, the offerings were further expanded: new pavilions enriched cultural representations, unique performances were showcased, and significant developments took place in the infrastructure.

Visitors could wander among stalls representing more than 80 countries, with a cavalcade of handcrafted products, authentic foods, and souvenirs awaiting them. Various pavilions offered interactive cultural experiences, dance and music performances that made the visit even more enriching.

In the weeks of April, Global Village offers special tribute shows to famous international performers. These performances are held every Wednesday and offer a true delight for music lovers. April 16: The life work of an iconic musician is spotlighted, in the style of a member of a legendary British rock band.

April 23: The songs of a global star singer, whose concerts break records worldwide, are evoked.

April 30: The program pays tribute to a defining formation of rock music, offering an unforgettable atmosphere.

These events are not only entertaining but also emotionally touching for the audience—the music, lights, and stage sets offer an experience that remains memorable for a long time.
