Global Village Dubai: 30th Season Celebration

Global Village 2025/26: The 30th Jubilee Season Begins in Dubai
One of Dubai's most well-known and popular attractions, the Global Village, opened its doors to visitors for the thirtieth time on October 15th. This jubilee season is special not only because of the numbers but also because it offers the richest program lineup ever, with spectacular shows and exciting attractions for the residents of the United Arab Emirates and tourists. The series of events lasts until May 10, 2026, providing ample time to explore the cultural and gastronomic diversity of the world at a single location.
Thirty Seasons of Growth and Passion
The Global Village has grown beyond being just a seasonal amusement park: it has evolved into a true global cultural festival, attracting over 10.5 million visitors in the previous season. This event significantly strengthens Dubai's position as one of the world's leading tourism and entertainment centers. The organizers have promised a "more spectacular than ever" experience package for the 30th season, and it seems they are indeed keeping their promise.
A World Tour With a Single Ticket
This year's season features 30 pavilions representing more than 90 different cultures. Visitors can browse among over 3,500 shops while choosing from more than 250 dining options, including the Restaurant Plaza. This two-level restaurant complex unites 11 different eateries, offering a diverse international menu. The plaza is located next to the colorful and entertaining Carnaval area, with views of the Falcon Stage, which hosts live performances throughout the season.
New Additions and Renewed Experiences
Familiar and beloved areas like Fiesta Street, and the Road of Asia—now renamed Asia Boulevard—and Happiness Street have received a new look this year. The Dessert District (formerly Railway Market) has expanded not only gastronomically but also visually, offering photo opportunities for social media enthusiasts.
Noteworthy is the new Dragon Kingdom, an 11-room themed experience site that combines the world of fantasy, mystery, and adventure. Additionally, the Horror Hotel—formerly known as House of Fear—has returned in a completely revamped form to satisfy visitors yearning for thrills.
The section between the Egypt and Iran pavilions has also taken on a new function: it is now home to the Gardens of the World, an area featuring stunning flower compositions and iconic world heritage elements, blending visual experiences with the beauty of nature.
Entertainment for Young and Old
Over 200 different games, attractions, and experiences have been set up for the 30th season of Global Village. The latest amusement park elements include York Bikes, Toronto Tornado, Desert Dashers, Cape Glider, Rio Rocket, and The Little Wonderers. Some cater to adrenaline seekers, while others offer relaxation for families.
There's no room for complaints in terms of stage programs either: over 40,500 shows are expected during the season, featuring 450 performers representing 30 different nationalities. The new Fast Live Spectacular stunt show enchants audiences with Tokyo-style drifting, motorcycle jumps, fire effects, and classic cars.
World-renowned productions alternate on the main stage, such as Retumbar, Red Hot Chili Pipers, Mayumana, Burn the Floor, Dhol Foundation, and the classic Swan Lake. Noteworthy among Global Village's own shows are Boom Bollywood, Slam, Scatty Chapati, and kid-friendly performances like Care Bears and PJ Masks.
Fire and Light: Visual Experiences Every Night
A special fire and light show debuts next to Dragon Lake, and a new light show is also starting in front of the main stage. The ambiance is enhanced by additional decorative lighting and special installations. The traditional Friday and Saturday evening fireworks will not be missed either, with colorful lights filling the sky every time at 9 PM.
Easier Access and Organized Entry
For the convenience of the visitor experience, new wayfinding systems, screens, and signage have been installed throughout the park to facilitate orientation. Parking lots have also been redesigned to help the smooth flow of traffic.
Tickets can be purchased in advance via the official Global Village app, website (globalvillage.ae), and on-site box offices. Weekday tickets are valid from Sunday to Wednesday (except public holidays), while "any day" tickets can be used on any day. On Tuesdays, only families and ladies are welcome (except on public holidays).
Summary
The 30th jubilee season of Global Village is an outstanding event in Dubai's entertainment offerings not only for the numbers but also for the details, experiences, and innovations. Anyone visiting this year will not only encounter the world's gastronomy and culture but also a series of experiences guaranteed to entice visitors back again and again. This season is not merely about the operation of an amusement park—it is a celebration of what Global Village represents: the boundaryless meeting of people, cultures, and flavors in the heart of Dubai.
