Global Village Accessible Again with RTA's Service Relaunch
The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has relaunched bus and abra services to the Global Village for the 29th season of 2024-2025. The special cultural and entertainment event series, which opened on October 16, attracts millions of visitors every year, and the RTA now ensures safe and comfortable travel on multiple routes for the convenience of visitors.
Convenient Access with Four Bus Routes
The bus services to Global Village aim to provide visitors with convenient, direct, and fast access to the site. The RTA has reinstated a total of four main routes to the Global Village, which operate as follows:
1. Route 102: Begins at Rashidiya Metro Station and takes passengers directly to the Global Village. This route is particularly popular among those living or working in or near the Rashidiya area.
2. Route 103: Departs from Union Square Bus Station and also transports passengers directly to the Global Village. This route offers an easy way for visitors from downtown Dubai to reach the site.
3. Route 104: Starts at Al Ghubaiba Bus Station and serves as a direct route to Global Village. It is an ideal choice for visitors from the Al Ghubaiba area.
4. Route 106: Departing from Mall of the Emirates Metro Station, it also takes visitors to Global Village. This route is a convenient solution for those living in the southern part of Dubai, departing from the vicinity of Mall of the Emirates.
The RTA aims to significantly reduce traffic congestion with these direct bus routes, while providing visitors with a fast and comfortable travel option. Each route operates in accordance with the Global Village's opening hours, ensuring passengers can easily return to various points of the city after their visit.
Abra Services for a Unique Experience
In addition to bus services, the RTA has also reintroduced abra services to the Global Village area.
