Four-Day Eid Al Adha Break in UAE

The residents of the United Arab Emirates can look forward to a four-day holiday in June for the Eid Al Adha celebration, regardless of whether the moon is sighted on May 27. According to astronomical predictions, the month of Dhul Hijjah is expected to begin on May 28, positioning the holiday for June 6 or 7, depending on the moon sighting.
The travel fever has already begun, as following the announcement of holiday dates by Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, UAE residents have started confidently planning trips. Travel agencies report a surge in demand, especially for visa-free destinations such as CIS countries. Among the most popular offers were a trip to Baku for Dh1,999, a trip to Tashkent for Dh2,100, and a combined Armenia–Georgia tour for Dh2,599.
Those planning longer journeys are primarily heading to Europe, especially those who have managed to secure a Schengen visa in time. The Balkan region is also becoming increasingly popular, where many places offer visa on arrival with long-term, multiple-entry American, British, or Schengen visas.
Africa and the Middle East stand out in this year's trends. Kenya and Egypt are particularly popular, with many seeking out the famed Maasai Mara National Reserve. According to feedback from travel agencies, many packages for this year's Eid have already sold out in advance, as travelers are booking more consciously and foresightedly.
Tuesday, May 27 corresponds to Dhul Qadah 29. If the moon is sighted that evening, the month of Dhul Hijjah starts on May 28, and the holiday falls on June 6. If the moon is not visible, the month begins on May 29, and the holiday shifts to June 7. As per the UAE's official decision, the Eid Al Adha break lasts from 9 to 12 Dhul Hijjah, covering Arafat Day and the first three days of Eid Al Adha.
Due to the enormous demand for travel packages, fewer available deals remain at the last minute, and prices may increase. Those who take advantage of discount offers can travel to visa-free destinations starting from Dh1,999, providing perfect relaxation for a four-day holiday break.
This year, UAE residents have the opportunity to make the most of the four-day Eid Al Adha break with a well-planned trip, be it short or long. Whether the destinations are CIS countries, Africa, the Balkans, or Europe, it's worth booking in advance to secure the best prices and spots for eager travelers.
