Ferrari Opens First Esport Arena in Abu Dhabi
The world's first Ferrari e-sport arena with top-notch gaming stations has opened in Abu Dhabi.
Faisal Al Nuaimi, General Manager of Yas Island's Ferrari World, speaks about the arena's inspiration and how it contributes to the esports scene in the UAE.
The Ferrari-inspired, multi-award-winning Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi has once again set a new standard in the entertainment industry with the grand opening of the world's first Ferrari-themed Esports Arena. This high-tech facility is poised to become a new favorite destination for racing enthusiasts, Formula 1 fans, and adrenaline seekers alike.
The recently opened Ferrari World Esports Arena boasts impressive equipment, offering 20 Gran Turismo simulators designed specifically to cater to all age groups. Of these, fourteen simulators are intended for adult racers, while six are tailored for younger visitors, creating a family-friendly environment open to all ages. Additionally, the arena includes three special F1 simulators that put participants in the driver's seat of Ferrari racing cars, allowing them to experience the thrill of iconic F1 Grand Prix race tracks such as the Yas Marina Circuit.
"This is the world's first Ferrari-themed esport arena; no one else has anything like it, and we ensured that even if someone wanted to create something similar, they couldn't compete with the design and architectural solutions employed here."
Staying true to the spirit of Ferrari, the Ferrari World Esports Arena reflects Ferrari's colors, with its sleek aesthetic highlighted from floor to ceiling in red and black, faithfully capturing the iconic brand, presenting itself as a visual masterpiece. The arena is equipped with state-of-the-art gaming consoles, high-performance PCs, professional equipment, and the latest consoles, ensuring a seamless and immersive gaming experience for all visitors.
"We see what is missing in the world, not just in the United Arab Emirates, and how we can capitalize on this. In addition, we continue to wish to add unique selling points to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi."
In the spirit of inclusivity
Ferrari World continues to put inclusivity at the forefront by introducing two Gran Turismo simulators in its Esports Arena specifically designed for individuals with disabilities. This thoughtful innovation underscores the park's commitment to creating accessible and enjoyable experiences for all its guests. "This is a UAE government initiative and part of every sector. It is mandatory for us to consider these aspects in all our activities as part of tourism and hospitality."
The Ferrari World Esports Arena is open every day from 10 AM to 6 PM.
The use of Gran Turismo simulators is part of the theme park entry ticket until the end of the year. Access to exclusive F1 simulators is available for an additional fee, starting at 60 dirhams per race.
