Emirates Charter Flights for Hajj and Eid Al Adha: An Exclusive Experience for Pilgrims and Celebrators
This year, Emirates Airline is offering special travel opportunities for those preparing for two significant events in the Islamic world: the Hajj pilgrimage and the Eid Al Adha festival. For believers and celebrators seeking a memorable trip, the airline is launching a total of 46 dedicated flights, offering personalized comfort, spiritual experiences, and a festive atmosphere.
Hajj Pilgrimage: Personalized Attention
During the Hajj period, until May 31, and between June 10 and 16, Emirates is launching 33 chartered flights to Jeddah and Madinah to facilitate the travel of thousands of pilgrims to Mecca. From various parts of the world, such as the USA, Pakistan, Indonesia, South Africa, Thailand, and Ivory Coast, nearly 32,000 passengers will be arriving in the holy cities.
All Hajj flights are uniquely tailored to ensure that pilgrims enjoy maximum comfort while fulfilling their religious obligations. Onboard, passengers receive a Hajj package containing a prayer mat, tasbih beads, a silicone water bottle, and non-slip socks to experience spiritual immersion at every moment. The lavatories provide handwashing and ritual ablution (wudu) facilities with fragrance-free towels. Additionally, announcements notify passengers of the Al Miqat zones where the pilgrimage ritual attire begins, and special Hajj-themed content is available on Emirates' entertainment system, ice.
Returning pilgrims can carry up to 5 liters of holy Zamzam water, which will be transported in the airplane's designated cargo hold.
Eid Al Adha: Festive Gastronomic Experiences
During the Eid Al Adha period, Emirates will launch an additional 13 charter flights to Amman, Dammam, Kuwait, and Bahrain, catering to summer travelers, family visitors, and celebrators. On these special flights, passengers in all classes will enjoy a festive menu.
Passengers in first, business, and premium economy classes can taste traditional dishes such as Lamb Madfoon or Chicken Zurbian, and special desserts like Pistachio and Chocolate Nammoura Cake or White Chocolate and Rahash Mousse Cake.
Economy class passengers are not left out of the experience, with Pistachio Cake and Coffee Cake included in the offerings. The festive mood is further enhanced by petite pastries wrapped in unique gift boxes, such as Cake Rangeena, Pistachio Rehash Cake, or Date Mamoul.
Premium Experiences Departing from Jeddah
Emirates passengers in first and business classes can also enjoy the festive atmosphere in the Jeddah lounge, where local specialties such as Lamb Mathlouta, Lamb Saleeg, Henaini, and Cheese Kunafa are offered.
Summary
Emirates' meticulous attention to detail once again proves that the airline is not just a transportation provider but a real experience facilitator, offering the highest level of service even during pilgrimages and festivals. Whether it’s about spiritual immersion or family reunions, Emirates flights provide a worthy framework for these special occasions.
