Emirates Rewards with Record 22-Week Bonus

Emirates Pays 22-Week Bonus After Record Profits - Rewarding the World's Largest Airline Employees
The Emirates Group is not only the world's largest airline but now also the most profitable one, having closed the 2024-25 fiscal year with record profits. This outstanding result is shared not only with its shareholders but also with its employees: workers will receive a bonus equivalent to 22 weeks' salary, which will be disbursed to them in May.
A Remarkable Year for Emirates Group
The year 2024-25 was special for Emirates Group not only in terms of profit. For the first time in its history, the company achieved the title of the world's most profitable airline, a feat made possible not only by financial results but also by the commitment and expertise of its staff. In recognition of this, the company's management decided on a 22-week bonus, which forms a significant part of the annual salary.
This isn’t the first time Emirates has rewarded its employees with such substantial bonuses. In 2022-23, employees received a premium equivalent to 24 weeks’ pay, and in 2023-24, it was 20 weeks. The continuously increasing bonuses clearly show that the company not only acknowledges but also values employees' contributions to its success.
Growth of Employee Benefits
The Emirates Group didn't stop at bonuses. The company provided a five percent base salary increase for its Dubai-based employees and also enhanced housing and transportation allowances. Furthermore, from September, educational support for children increased by ten percent, offering significant assistance to employees with families.
Plans for the Future
For the 2025-26 financial year, Emirates has ambitious plans. The fleet expansion will see the addition of 16 A350 and 4 Boeing 777 freighter aircraft, which will further increase the airline's network coverage. With the continuation of the retrofit program, cabins on the A380, 777, and A350 fleets will be renewed to welcome passengers with the most modern products and the usual luxury standard.
Additionally, the development of the new Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) has begun near Dubai South, intended to be the future hub of air transport. During the planning and development work, Emirates is closely collaborating with Dubai airports and other relevant organizations to provide the best possible travel experience to passengers.
Conclusion
The Emirates Group achieved unprecedented financial results in the 2024-25 year, and this success is enjoyed by both investors and employees. The 22-week bonus and various benefit increases show that the company places great emphasis on employee appreciation and well-being. Emirates not only strengthens its current position but also lays down the foundations for future growth with the acquisition of new aircraft and the development of DWC.
