Emirates Expands Flight Routes in Asia

Emirates Expands Asian Network: Daily Flights to Shenzhen, Weekly to Vietnam and Cambodia
Emirates, the international airline of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has taken a significant step to strengthen its presence in the Asian market. The airline announced that from July 2025, it will launch daily flights from Dubai to Shenzhen, China's technology hub, and weekly flights to Vietnam and Cambodia. This new network not only bolsters Emirates' global presence but also opens new opportunities for economic and trade relations.
Shenzhen: The Hub of Innovation
According to Emirates' announcement, daily direct flights from Dubai to Shenzhen will commence on July 1. This move is significant not only for the airline but also for the region, as Emirates will be the first Middle Eastern airline to operate daily flights to the Chinese technology hub.
Shenzhen, often referred to as the “Silicon Valley of China”, is one of the world's most important centers for innovation and technology. The city plays a critical role in the high-tech industry, not just for the domestic market but on a global scale. Emirates has planned the route to provide optimal connectivity options not only in China but in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, as well as the United States and South America.
The flight schedule is as follows:
Flight EK328 departs Dubai at 10:05 and arrives in Shenzhen at 23:00.
The return flight EK329 departs Shenzhen at 23:55 and arrives in Dubai at 3:40 the following day.
Emirates SkyCargo, the airline's freight division, will transport approximately 10 tons of cargo per flight between Shenzhen and Dubai. This is particularly important for the export of high-tech devices and e-commerce products.
Vietnam and Cambodia: New Destinations on the Emirates Map
Emirates is not only expanding its presence in China but also in Vietnam and Cambodia. From June 2, the airline will launch four weekly flights to Da Nang, one of Vietnam's beautiful cities. This route will operate via Bangkok and will become Emirates’ third destination in Vietnam alongside Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
The flight schedule to Da Nang is:
Flight EK370 departs Dubai at 9:00 and arrives in Bangkok at 18:25. It then departs Bangkok at 20:10, arriving in Da Nang at 21:50.
The return flight EK371 departs Da Nang at 23:30, arriving in Bangkok at 1:10 the next day. Then it departs Bangkok at 3:40, arriving in Dubai at 6:50.
In Cambodia, Emirates will launch three weekly flights to Siem Reap from June 3, home to the world-famous Angkor Wat temples.
These flights will also operate via Bangkok and follow the schedule:
Flight EK370 departs Dubai at 9:00, arriving in Bangkok at 18:25. It then departs Bangkok at 20:10, arriving in Siem Reap at 21:30.

Emirates' Strategic Moves
The introduction of new routes not only serves the expansion of Emirates' global network but also indicates the airline's commitment to the Asian market. Shenzhen, Da Nang, and Siem Reap are all destinations that are crucial for both tourism and trade and economic cooperation.
Emirates' Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer highlighted that the flights to Shenzhen open new opportunities for businesses and strengthen economic ties between the technology hub and global markets.
Emirates' new routes provide opportunities not just for passengers but also contribute to the trade and logistics development between regions. The airline continues to focus on growth and innovation while opening new doors between different parts of the world.
