Emirates Boosts Flights for Eid Al Fitr

Eid Al Fitr Travel Rush in UAE: 17 Extra Flights to Popular Destinations
Eid Al Fitr, the period celebrating the end of Ramadan, brings a significant travel surge in the Middle East every year. Emirates, one of the region's leading airlines, has prepared for the increased demand this year by launching 17 additional flights between March 26 and April 6 to Middle Eastern and GCC countries.
More Than 371,000 Passengers Anticipated
According to estimates from Emirates, nearly 371,000 passengers are expected to use the airline's services in the region during Eid Al Fitr. To satisfy the heightened demand, extra flights will be operated to destinations including Jeddah, Kuwait, Dammam, and Amman.
Amman: 6 additional flights from and to Dubai
Dammam: 5 extra aircraft
Jeddah: 4 additional departures
Kuwait: 2 more flights
Festive Flavors in the Sky
Emirates has not only increased the frequency but also enhanced the travel experience: on selected flights, festive Eid menus will be served in every class. The menu is embellished with traditional Middle Eastern specialties, such as chicken madhbi, shrimp matfi, chicken makloubeh, or grilled chicken shish taouk and lamb kofta. Dessert lovers will also be delighted with options like halwa brownies and pistachio cakes, among other delicious treats.
More Opportunities for Family Time
Emirates emphasizes that the expanded schedule aims to give travelers more opportunities to reunite with their loved ones, whether for traveling home or on vacation. "Eid Al Fitr is a celebration of family and shared joys. Our flights help more people enjoy this special period at home or on an unforgettable trip," stated the airline.
The period after Eid might also remain busy, as many take advantage of the extended break for travel. Therefore, it is advisable to book in advance to secure a spot on the popular flights.
