Eid Celebrations: Cars, Tickets for UAE Workers

Eid Al Adha Celebration for Workers in UAE: Cars and Tickets Won
This year in the United Arab Emirates, special attention was given to those who work tirelessly behind the scenes for the country's development: the manual labor workers. During Eid Al Adha, grand celebrations were organized in more than ten industrial zones, where participants not only celebrated together but also participated in various competitions and raffles – with one of the luckiest winning a car.
Celebration Nationwide
The series of events was organized under the motto "Eid with Our Workers: Joy and Happiness" by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), at a total of 10 different locations throughout the UAE. Programs took place in Dubai's Jebel Ali, Al Quoz, and Muhaisnah districts, Abu Dhabi's Mussafah and Hameem Worker City zones, as well as in the industrial areas of Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.
The aim of the events was to recognize the workers' contributions to the country's development, enhance their quality of life, improve their mental well-being, and strengthen their sense of belonging to the community.
Valuable Prizes, Shared Experiences
Valuable prizes, including plane tickets and a car, were won in the raffles and competitions. Hundreds of workers participated in the cultural and entertainment programs, many of them experiencing this type of community event in the UAE for the first time.
According to the ministry, the celebrations not only express gratitude and recognition but are also part of a long-term strategic objective that prioritizes ensuring the workers' well-being and social stability.
Strong Partnership Between Government and Private Entities
Many state and private organizations participated in implementing the programs, including the Ministry of Interior, the police commands of the various emirates, transportation authorities, civil defense offices, immigration and customs authorities, and economic zones such as RAKEZ. This extensive collaboration demonstrates that supporting workers is not just a ministerial task but a national concern.
The Role of Workers in Shaping the Future
MoHRE highlighted that the role of workers is crucial in realizing the country's economic vision. Their work helps strengthen the UAE's international position as a livable, investment-friendly, and attractive work environment.
