Dubai's Eid Travel Plans and Free Parking

Dubai Transport and Parking Arrangements During Eid Al Adha 2025
During the Eid Al Adha celebrations, Dubai is implementing special measures to facilitate transportation for residents and visitors, ensuring everyone can enjoy the festive period without disruptions. From June 5 to 8, public parking areas in the UAE are free of charge, except for multi-level parking garages, which will operate at standard fares. This decision eases the burden for many residents and tourists who often embark on family or religious trips during this time.
Dubai Metro, Tram, and Bus Schedule During the Holiday Period
During the holiday, the Dubai Metro will run daily from 5:00 AM until 1:00 AM the following day, from June 4 to 7. The Dubai Tram will operate from June 4 to 7, from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM the next day, providing convenient access across different parts of the city.
Bus schedules are available via the S’hail app, which passengers are encouraged to check, as certain routes may temporarily cease during the holiday. For example, from June 4 to 8, the E100 bus will not depart from the Al Ghubaiba station; instead, the E101 will be available from the Ibn Battuta station towards Abu Dhabi. The E102 route will operate directly from the Al Jafiliya station to Zayed International Airport, without stopping at Ibn Battuta and Mussafah.
Customer Service and Technical Center Availability
According to the RTA (Roads and Transport Authority), all traditional Customer Relationship Centers will be closed during the holiday period. However, smart customer service hubs, such as those in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, and the RTA central office, will remain open 24/7.
Service centers will be closed from June 5 to 7. Technical inspection services will resume only on Sunday, June 8, at locations including Tasjeel Al Tawar, AutoPro Al Mankhool, Tasjeel Al Awir, Al Yalayis, and Shamil Muhaisnah. All services, including administration and technical inspections, will return to regular operations on Monday, June 9.
Why Is It Important to Pay Attention Now?
During the Eid Al Adha period, increased traffic can be expected throughout the city, especially around popular festive sites. Free parking and extended metro and tram services can help alleviate congestion, yet it is advisable to check the current bus schedules via the S’hail application to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
If you plan to conduct official business or vehicle inspections around the holiday, be prepared that most locations will only be fully operational from Monday, June 9.
