New variable parking fees have been implemented throughout Dubai, with the aim of optimizing parking space usage and providing more flexible options for residents and visitors. The announcement of the new regulations initially sparked questions among residents about costs, impacts on usual parking spaces, and subscription options. This article delves into these concerns with a detailed overview of available options and necessary information.

Types of Parkin Subscriptions

Parkin offers two types of parking subscriptions, which can be chosen for different durations depending on the user's desired zones.

1. Plots Only

This package grants access solely to designated parking spots in zones B and D, and is not applicable to other zones like A, C, H, J, or K.

Available subscription periods and fees:

1 month - 250 dirham

3 months - 700 dirham

6 months - 1,300 dirham

12 months - 2,400 dirham

2. Roadside Parking and Plots

This package provides access to designated roadside parking spaces and plots in zones A, B, C, and D. Roadside parking is limited to a maximum of four consecutive hours, while plot parking can be utilized for up to 24 consecutive hours.

Available subscription periods and fees:

1 month - 500 dirham

3 months - 1,400 dirham

6 months - 2,500 dirham

12 months - 4,500 dirham

Important Points for Subscriptions

When considering a parking subscription, keep the following in mind:

Up to three vehicles can be added to the same Dubai traffic file, but only one can be active at a time. Switching between vehicles is permitted every 30 minutes.

If the traffic file is not Dubai-based, belongs to other countries, or the vehicles are registered under a company name, only one vehicle can be linked to the subscription.

The subscription fee is non-refundable.

It is not possible to downgrade from "roadside and plot" to "plots only" subscription.

A fee of 100 dirham is charged if you wish to modify vehicle details on your subscription.
