Dubai Metro Extends Hours for Celebrated Event

Dubai Metro Extended Hours for 'Emirates loves Pakistan' Event
The UAE is preparing for one of its largest community events on August 10, when Expo City Dubai will host the celebration named 'Emirates loves Pakistan.' This event is part of the Jashn Azaadi Pakistan program related to Pakistan's independence day and is free to attend with prior registration. Organizers anticipate it to be the largest Pakistani community gathering in the Emirates' history.
To ensure smooth transportation, the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced several measures. The most significant change is the extension of Dubai Metro's operating hours: trains will run until 2 AM on the early morning of August 11, Monday, instead of the usual midnight closure. This will allow visitors to return home comfortably and safely after the event.
Additionally, the RTA will provide an extra fleet of taxis around Expo City Dubai to ensure that public transportation capacity meets the increased demand. The aim of this decision is to allow all participants to transit smoothly, whether they choose the metro or taxis.
The event's uniqueness lies in highlighting cultural programs alongside community cohesion and festive spirit, which is expected to attract thousands of visitors not only from Dubai but from other parts of the UAE as well.
If you'd like to participate in the Jashn Azaadi Pakistan celebration, it is advisable to register in time to secure your spot at this grand and likely memorable event.
