Dubai Metro Celebrates 15 Years with Free Nol Cards
Dubai celebrated the 15th anniversary of its metro by distributing 10,000 free Nol cards at Terminals 1 and 3 of the airport to facilitate quick and convenient transit for passengers. Arriving travelers received a special stamp in their passports symbolizing the metro's significance in the city's transportation system.
The celebration was jointly organized by the Dubai General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) and the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), emphasizing the importance of sustainable urban mobility and modern transportation infrastructure. The initiative aimed to enhance travel experiences and reinforce Dubai's commitment to modern and sustainable transport solutions.
General Al Marri highlighted that the Dubai Metro has played a pivotal role in the city's development over the past 15 years, serving both residents and visitors as a modern transportation option. The metro serves hundreds of thousands of passengers daily and is crucial to achieving Dubai’s sustainable future goals.
