Free parking for several days

One of the most important announcements is that all public parking throughout Dubai will be free to use from May 25 to May 29 in 2026. This measure applies to all outdoor paid parking zones, although multi-level parking garages will continue to operate with normal charges.

This is a significant relief for those traveling by car in the city during the holiday period. Normally, Dubai maintains a strict parking regulation system, and in busy areas, parking fees can quickly accumulate over a long day. Free parking thus means savings for many families and tourists.

However, during the holiday period, finding a free parking spot is expected to become even more difficult in popular areas, especially near shopping malls, beaches, waterfront promenades, and tourist attractions. Dubai's transportation authority emphasized that using the Dubai Metro is one of the quickest ways to access the airport. The Airport Terminal 1 and Airport Terminal 3 metro stations provide direct connections to the Dubai International Airport terminals, allowing many to avoid traffic jams and longer taxi rides.

During Eid Al Adha, the airport is traditionally extremely busy, so authorities advise travelers to set off much earlier and, if possible, use public transportation.

Changes in bus services
