Al Ansari Exchange Resolves Technical Glitch Issue

Issue with Delayed Transfers Resolved at Al Ansari Exchange
One of the largest currency exchange and remittance service providers in the United Arab Emirates, Al Ansari Exchange, confirmed that the technical glitch experienced on July 5, affecting certain transfers, has been fully resolved. Due to the glitch, numerous residents faced delays in transactions that typically occur within minutes.
Technical Glitch on a Busy Weekend
The glitch was noticed on Saturday, during a busy weekend when many expatriate workers—having received their monthly salaries—initiated remittances for family expenses, tuition fees, rent, or healthcare costs. However, the transactions extended unusually long, sometimes even days, causing inconvenience for several families.
Less than 1% of Customers Affected
According to Al Ansari, the issue affected less than 1% of its clientele. The company stated that the problem was quickly identified and resolved while all other services continued to operate smoothly. The improperly executed transactions were recalled with the help of their partners, and the rightful transfers were reprocessed.
Collaboration with Global Partners
The company emphasized that it possesses an extensive partner network both locally and internationally. The financial settlement of the affected transactions is carried out in close cooperation with these strategic partners, further minimizing the economic repercussions from the glitch.
While the precise financial impact was not disclosed, Al Ansari indicated that the incident did not lead to significant financial loss.
Customer Service Assisting with Remaining Queries
Al Ansari Exchange requests anyone who feels their transaction is still pending to contact their customer service at +971 600 546000, available every day between 8:00 am and midnight.
