The move is aimed at enhancing the airline's appeal in response to the popularity of these flights and passenger demands.

According to the current regulations of Air India Express, passengers can now enjoy the following free baggage provisions:
1. Checked baggage: 30 kg
2. Hand luggage: A maximum of two pieces totaling up to 7 kg
3. Additional hand baggage options: A laptop bag, handbag, backpack, or other small bags that fit under the seat in front of them
4. Families with infants: An additional 10 kg of free checked baggage, allowing a total of up to 47 kg including hand luggage
