Qais Abuiktish, a Palestinian MMA coach living in the UAE, agrees that social media can have a positive impact on people. "The body transformations and active lifestyles shared on social media can be motivating for those who previously had no interest in sports. I, myself, spend one to one and a half hours on training daily, and I see the changes it can bring to one’s lifestyle," he said.
However, he also acknowledges that the negative impacts of social media should not be overlooked. "Many set unrealistic goals because they see others achieving spectacular results quickly and easily. This can lead to frustration and even giving up."

Doctors in the UAE advise to:
